I was thinking today how big it is that I moved away from my family that I'm so close to. I have already grown so much and have had so many fun experiences that I will look back on and miss. School's going good, 0nly six more weeks left. I'm learning so much and have met such cute girls. My grandpa came in this week and let me cut his hair. I felt very special since he has been going to the same barber for YEARS. He said he liked it;)

Wed night I went to the dollar theaters with Tara and her guy friends to see TAKEN. So intense! Remind me to never go to Paris with one girl friend.. or if I do-- bring my pepper spray. ha

Thursday: The Dover Kids and Susie came over for dinner. It was so much having them over. It was hard knowing what they would want since, Jensen likes dinosaur nuggets, Marcus loves corn dogs and brescia pasta.. So i decided I couldn't go wrong with Cheese Ravioli and Pazookies!

Friday night was girls night AGAIN!! It's been so much fun making new girlfriends here. We went to Pizza Factory - It was so yummy..



Then we went to Color Me Mine & painted stuff! I painted a cute zebra & giraffe plate:)



Brandon Mitchell came to visit me- we doubled with Tara and his friend Christian. It was SO much fun to see him! It had been so many years! Tara & I were laughing the whole night.. They are such fun boys. We randomly climbed on the E Centers hockey statues. It was such a beautiful night .. we had fun jammin to country music!



I spent the night with Tara and then went to her singles ward that morning. I love her. She's such an amazing person.

i love being close to my utah family. I had a sleepover with the Parish's! We watched the modern version of pride and predjudice and made headbands!! It was so much fun. Nicki was so cute, so was so willing to give up her bed and she slept on the floor. These kids are so giving and loving! I just love them!!

First Midnight Showing!

My very first Midnight Showing.. I really don't know how I got talked into this.. since I had school the next morning.We went with Lace's brother, Girl-friend and a bunch of their friends. Lacey and I went to school going on three and a half hours
of sleep. haha. WOW. It was a fun experience even though I wasn't impressed with the movie. . I usually don't like sequels, I think they try too hard. It was a fun night though!:) We should've just pulled an all-nighter!

I'm Walkin On Sunshine.

The Sunshine is FINALLY here! I've come to realize that I took for granted the beautiful constant sunshine Arizona brings.. It's rained pretty much every day here. Now, It's finally feeling like summer. "I'm walkin on Sunshine WOAH WOAH WOAH & don't it feel good!!!"

It was so much fun spending my day off with the cute Dover Kids. I had missed them SO much! They are in Park City for three weeks! I'm having them over for dinner this week after they hike the y! So fun! Here are some pictures.. Brescia, Jensen, Susie and I went to lunch at Bajios and then we went back to their place at the Canyons. It's SO nice! I have been skiing there before with my family, but its so beautiful and green in the summer! We got ice cream, walked around, and then we all went swimming and they took me to downtown park city for dinner. It was such a fun day. I love them so much! Jensen said, Joswin, you ah so bootiful.. I missed you so much. It melted my heart.


The drive there was so amazing and green. We live in such a beautiful world.

Life is a Highway

My Nana and Grandpa Paul came down to visit! Nana came into my school for a trim and a style! I love her SO much! They had a family re-union and let me come with them! We went to a rodeo later that night! It was so much fuuun! It was my very first rodeo.. The cowgirl part of me came out! My oh my were their cute cowboy's there:)

It was so much fun, after we got lost and were laughing so hard. Nana bought lacey and i some groceries:) It was so much fun having her here.


My Grandma Whiting came into my school the next day! She let me color her hair with highlights. She said it was the best she's ever had, of course she would say that. Grandma's are too nice!

Saturday Night, I had a date. It was fun! We went to see Beauty and The Beast at an out door theater. The musical was really good, the performers were impressive.. I was singing the whole time. Anyone who knows me, knows how much I LOOOOVE music and musicals! I thought of my Sis, she's my belle.

p.s it was FREEEEZING & to make it even better Lauris sent me a picture of a nice beautiful WARM Arizona sunset.

OK.. confession, We painted our nails black this week at school.. & I put a bling strand in my hair this week. Hey.. at least we aren't dying our hair pink and purple right?? They are super fun! You just tie a knot and they are in.. You can even curl them and wash them!

Later that night, our good friend Russ came over for dinner and we bought A LOT of candy & watched a Walk To Remember.

The next night was Headband Night! Tara and Bree came over and we had a lot of fun making headbands AND taking pictures! It's kinda becoming a weekly thing.. It's such a stress reliever for me!

My Daddy and I have always had such a special bond. I remember always stepping on his feet and dancing to music, singing country music with the window rolled down, playing games, goal stroals and every morning he would wake me up and carry me in to the table where my breakfast was already made.

I still love being on his shoulders. Til this day!:) I've always been my Daddy's little girl. I love hearing people tell me I look like him. He's the best Dad IN THE WHOLE world. I love knowing that I ALWAYS have his arms to go to and my Dad will NEVER let me down. I love him so much.

It's been so much fun living near my Dad's Dad. I feel I've gotten to know my Dad even better. I get to hear stories of him growing up quite often and live in his old room that he had in highschool, and go to the same seminary building he did. It's fun. My Grandpa Paul came in town this week and I went to a rodeo with him and Nana. I got to be with both Grandpa's for a second:) I'm so grateful for my Grandpa's. Happy Grandpa's Day to both of you! Thanks for your example. You both are amazing men.

Lastly, I'm SO grateful for a loving Father in heaven that gave these amazing men to me. My Heavenly Father is so loving and I want to become more like him also. I have felt his love for me so strong. I know he is with us in all things and wants us to grow and return to him.

We stayed up late last night and watched a chick flick.. while you were sleeping. It was an oldie, but SO cute! We slept in today til eleven and then we did a little shopping and on our way home.. this guy on this motorcycle was totally staring at us so we were smiling back just being goofy and blew him a kiss.. it was SO funny, he acted like he caught our kisses.. then at the stop light he asked us our names .. lacey said "I'm Brittany and this is Michelle" haha then of course the number one question utah guys ask.. "Can I have your number" Lacey was like Sorry, I have a boyfriend.. he looked at me and said do you have one too?? I shook my head yes and started laughing (I'm not very good at lying.. I always end up laughing or my cheeks turn red) He asked us what our boyfriend's names were and we both couldn't think of any names-- rolled our window up and drove away. Only in Utah (:

I've been reading this journal where my Mom wrote her feelings about me ever since I was born. I ball like a baby when I read it. I also read my baby blessing. I don't think I've read it since I was a little girl. It makes me feel so loved and truly realize what amazing parents I have. My parents really are the greatest. I want to become just like my Mom one day and marry someone just like my Dad. I couldn't ask for better parents. I sure love them. They sent me a picture of them in Hawaii today! I guess they saw wild horses near volcanoes! How cool is that?!

It's so nice having Monday's off. We got the Notebook to watch tonight and I'm going to bed early tonight so I will be ready for another week of eight hour/ten hour days of school!

Busy Busy Busy

I've been so busy with school. It's so nice to have so many clients though. I'm learning so much and have gotten so much experience with highlights, color, cuts, manicures, pedicures, acrylics, scalp treatments, blowdry, styling, up do's and more. Today one of my clients had me do her hair for HER wedding. I was VERY nervous.. but it turned out so pretty and she tipped me TEN bucks! Yesterday I cut this guys hair and he asked me out on a date after. Thats Utah for ya. Today I got new shoes with my tips from this week.. It was fun to shop since I've been saving like crazy. Check these beauties out.



It's hard not seeing my sis every day.. but we talk everyday at least. She's wearing make up now. . I didn't believe it so she sent me pictures. They are funny. She said that this is proof she's wearing make up. She's too cute.

It rains pretty much every day here.It's the same weather as Arizona is in January. BAH! I love how I'm freezing, my Sis is in cali and my parents are in Hawaii.JEALOUS.

I am loving living in Utah, I really do. It's such a nice change.. I went on a group date tonight.
Reminder: Never play capture the flag with the WHOLE BYU campus as the playing field. It takes WAY too long and you go twenty minutes EASY without seeing people. PLUS i was so close to chasing BYU students. HA. Oh Dear!
