Bowling!

On Monday night a big group gets together and bowls at Brunswick! The best part of it is: it's only a dollar per game! One of the weeks, I got six strikes in one game.. however last week I got zero! I think It's because we had too much fun and I couldn't concentrate as well..:) At least I can pretend that's the reason.. Hey, I'm not a bowler, I'll admit it!

Spring Break: Snow to Sand!

Spring Break was SO much fun this year!! We missed Lauris and Dad though. Dad was on a business trip, and Lauris was in Chicago/Nauvoo with light! We went to the Breinholts cabin in the begining of the week and went snowboarding/skiing! It was so much fun! We watched The boy in The Striped Pajamas the first night. It was about a german boy during the holocaust who made friends with a jew boy. It was such a neat movie. The second day was st. patricks day and the boys had green fro's and snowboarded down the mountain wearing them! It was awesome! The girls wore "Kiss Me I'm Irish" Pins:) That night Katie and I beat our Mom's in sequence (after they beat us twice). It was such a fun trip! There were no one on the slopes, and the weather was PERFECT!!

Rocky Point was AMAZING! There was NO one there .. It was like our own private beach! We stayed at Nana and Grandpa's condo at the sandy beach resort! Every day was full of relaxing, good food, hot tub, movies and games. It was the perfect get away! It was fun, It was kind of like a Mother and Daughter trip.. We spent a lot of time together and made a lot of fun memories! One of the nights, Nana, Mom & I rode horses on the beach! I would have to say that was the highlight! It was amazing!! I miss mexico already!

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Happy Birthday to the GREATEST Dad in the WHOLE world. We are so sad that we don't get to be with our Dad this year for his birthday because he's in New York for business. I wanted to post some of my favorite pictures and tell My Dad how much I love him. He is such an amazing person, Dad and husband. My favorites memories of my Dad are..

- Being carried in every morning throughout elementary school from bed to the kitchen to find breakfast made.

-Having him sing You've Got a Friend by James Taylor.. and all the songs he sings and adds his own lyrics.

-Goal Stroals

-Looking at our food and Having "mouse bites" and knowing they are from Dad.

-Having Dad ask us are you a whiner or a winner?!

-My first date when I turned sixteen was with my Dad. He took me on a hike and we had breakfast!

-His Father's blessings.

-Just recently sleeping in my parents bed with my Dad's arms around me. He's ALWAYS there for us.

There are SO many more memories I have with My Dad. He has so much love to give and such a deep love for our savior and father in heaven. He is such an AMAZING example. I've never heard my Dad Yell or have seen him angry. He is such a kind hearted Man. He makes EVERYTHING fun. He really is the best Dad we could ask for. I love the way he loves My Mom. He is always serving others and is such an example of how to be productive. I love how he teaches us how to make our weaknesses become strengths and how to be accountable. He has always taught us, if you think you can.. you can! My Dad is ALWAYS positive and looks on the bright side. His favorite quote is "It's all good" You can't be around my Dad and be lazy or sad! Happy Birthday Dad! We miss you, but will celebrate when we get back!! You're the best!

The King & I

Lauris and I got to go on Mom & Dad's date night! It was so much fun. We went to paradise for dinner then to Hale Theater to see The King & I. It was such a good musical! Lauris and I were in it when we were younger.. It was fun seeing It because it brought back good memories! I love the story of The King and I. Its about a young Mom of one boy whose husband dies and she travels to Shiam to be a school teacher. My favorite song she sings is about being brave and whistling a happy tune to help you get through tough times! It is an uplifting musical, and makes you realize how one person can really make a difference in others lives! Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us join in on your date night!!

Overnight with the Dover Kids!

I LOVE the Dovers! I've been babysitting them ever since I moved to Arizona. They are so much fun to watch and I got to be with them this whole weekend.!! We had so much fun while their parents were out! We went to Rubio's for dinner, then watched Laurisa perform with LIGHT. Of course she stole the show! The kids loved watching it.. It was so cute they had to get flowers for her. The next day we went to Freestone Park. It was such a beautiful day for the park! We took their cute cousins. I'm sure I got stares because I had six kids with me.. but they were so easy It didn't seem like it! We fed the ducks, rode the train and had a picnic. Later that night, we went to Chuck E Cheese. I think I had as much fun as the kids did! Bresica and I played DDR and Jensen beat me at air hockey! We rented a movie and called it a weekend. They are the cutest ever. I loved watching them. They are so full of love. Jensen held my hand and said Joswin, I wuv you. It was so adorable.

Rainforest Cafe

We went to Rainforest Cafe when the Auntie's and Great Nana were here! It was so much fun! I felt like a little kid again. I love my family!

Happy Birthday Nana!

My Nana is THE best Nana! She is so much fun ALWAYS. She makes everyone feel loved. My favorite memories with my Nana are when we were younger she would always take us to Chuck E Cheese and Mcdonald's just to get the happy meal toy. She always has the cutest decorations for every holiday and gives us money and cute little bags for our birthday and holiday's. Her motto is Happy Summer, Happy Spring.. Happy Happy Everything! Nana always is optomistic and happy! Her cabin and house are always welcome and they are SO cozy! She is always there for me and always has been. She has such a strong testimony and loves the temple. She and Grandpa Paul have such a neat relationship also. She really is the BEST example and I'm so grateful for my Nana. Happy Birthday Nana:)

So Many Beautiful Reasons To Be Happy

These are the things that help me to find happiness through pain...

• Ponder the scriptures to understand the plan of happiness.

• Pray with faith in Jesus Christ.

• Love and serve others.

• Receive the temple ordinances. Return to bless others.

• Listen to the prophet and obey his counsel.

• Be grateful for what you have.

• Smile more.

I promise it works!!

This is the chorus from one of my favorite happy songs..

"Got my dreams, got my life, got my love
Got my friends got the sunshine above
Why am I making this hard on myself
When there’s so many beautiful reasons I have to be happy?"

He Is There.

I just want to express my gratitude for the gospel. Today was such a good day for me. I'm so thankful for Christ's love. He is there. I feel it like I've never felt before. We all knew we would face trials before we came to earth and we were so excited to come even knowing that. I'm so grateful for my family and friends who love and supports me and believes in me. I know that Christ will never let me down. EVER. It's such a comforting feeling. I'm so grateful for the atonement and know with his stripes, we are healed. I love this picture. He really is carrying me through this trial in my life. I know through faith in him & obedience, we can over come anything.
