"the first principle of the gospel is faith in the lord jesus christ. faith means trust- trust in god's will, trust in his way of doing things, and trust in his time table. we should not try to impose our time table. we should not try to impose our time table on him.
the issue for us is trusting god enough to trust also his timing. if we can truly believe he has our welfare at heart, may we not let his plans unfold as he thinks best? since faith in the timing of the lord may be tried, let us learn to say not only, they will be done, but patiently also, thy timing be done. we cannot have true faith in the lord without also having complete trust in his will and his timing."
i started reading a single voice by kristen oaks. i needed this section today.. the lord really is testing my faith.. and i will find a job on his timing. in the mean time i will find ways to serve others, enjoy being with family and staying really frugal. i can do it, i know i can.
