kenz threw the cutest party. it was so much fun.

she made the cutest party favors that said "the perfect man only comes along one in a million" and inside their were "$1,000000" minty chocolates. yuum

oohhh, how i got spoiled:)

we played a game: "pin joslyn's lips on justin" i didn't get the closest, but i did get pretty close! when i told justin that at the end of the night their were a lot of lips on his face- his response was "wow, i sure got a lot of action, tonight."

loved having an intimate group. it was so much fun chatting, snacking and listening to christmas music.

and this is why.

thanksgiving was different this year. not as relaxing, we decided to start our morning at 6:00 am to run the turkey trot. (sis and i neverrrrr run- and decided to take the challenge). Two months ago, we couldn't even run a minute without stopping. just helped train me and I realized that I can run slow and gradually get faster.

i was so pumped during the race, i put my hands up in the air and said "booyah". i was ahead of sis by a long shot. i couldn't run anymore, i was exhausted-- little did i know, the race had 3 hills. long story short, sis sprinted ahead of me right at the finish line and beat me by 2 seconds-- literally. oh wellll. she did such a good job. we were both ecstatic to have made our goal. 3.1 miles in 30 minutes!

we had a wonderful day. watched the macy's day parade and made the meal together and expressed our gratitude for such a wonderful life.

oh how this year has been so good to me.

after justins night shift in california he drove and got just in time for thanksgiving night and the weekend :) we went to see tangled at the movies and loved it

5 am comes and mom and i do the traditional black friday madness!

we got such great deals. 50 % - 70% off: christmas shopping.. check.

somehow after we finished shopping at noon, i had enough energy and asked justin if we could hike camelback.

fun hike. i love this man.

what a great thanksgiving even though i was exhausted.

i miss this man already. i'm so proud of him though. we are crossing our fingers and toes during these interviews. 3 nights down, 19 to go. my new work schedule-- 6 days a week, doesn't allow me any visits. who says absence makes the heart grow fonder? oh how wrong they are..

sometimes i get tears in my eyes when i think about how he has been the one for me this whole time, we both just had to be really patient until it was the lord's timing. i sure do have a lot to be thankful for this thanksgiving..

halloween!!

we had a very fun time celebrating halloween. of course nana went allll out and we had a very yummy festive dinner and carved pumpkins! i won the contest! i never win, justin's my good luck charm i guess.

.. this would be my dad, waiting to jump out and scare g & sis. just and i watched and we laughed our heads off.. they were so scared. their is never a dull moment in this family..

i was tinkerbell and dressed up for work:) stylists didn't recognize me as a blonde. . i wore high heels and they killed me, so justin brought me comfy shoes and his first response was "what did you do with my fiance'?" he likes me better as a redhead. : )

my favorite part was seeing all the cute kiddos dressed up!!

and seeing my mom as witch!
the scariest part was being scared by my brothers at the sppook alley!

and ending the night watching what lies beneath with justin.. i attempted to cover my eyes more than 50 times..
