escape

to the oh so fine pine.

we mostly watched movies, slept, talked, laughed and got the royal treatment by nana.

we went riding in the snow.. call us crazy.

haha. i love this cute face of britts. we vote this should be on a jones soda bottle.

we played skip bo, listened to music, drank hot chocolate and ate salt and vinegar chips all at the same time. new favorite.

britt had a sore on the top of her mouth and she continued to eat the chips even after it made her cry. i've never laughed so hard in my entire life.

britt made me laugh the whole time.. when we put the logs into the fire she said, "if i were a boy, i'd do this with no shirt and jeans on" classic

there's nothing like getting warm and cozy in the woods when their is snow on the ground. i love ESCAPING to the snow and living in the warmth.

i'm so glad my girls and i were able to get away.

LOVED it.

win some, lose some

we went bowling as a family plus g. it was so much fun. the first game was cosmic bowling, the songs were good but not great.. i lost the first game.. everyone else beat me. the second game however was amazing.. thanks to the girl empowered songs i was dancing and singing the whole time.. and YES.. you guessed it.. i beat EVERYONE:]

we have such a perfect lord to lean on
for his unconditional love
his ability to forgive and forget
that this church is constant and stable in an unstable world
he carries us through the hard times in life
for my friends and family who love me just the way i am
i gained hope someday i can be sealed for eternity
for a new year to start all over

my new year resolutions
read a conference talk and scriptures every day
take notes at church
attend the temple once a week
work out three times a week
go to bed at eleven or earlier
job search til i find one
budget my money when i get an income
enjoy every second of my life
continue to spend time with family
befriend people

{i love where i am right now. i'm so content with where i am and who i am becoming. i love that i have let the lord shape me. i'm putting all my trust in him, he knows best. thank goodness he's in charge of my life. i love that i am a daughter of such a wonderful god.}

january one

was a good day

that was spent with family, eating food, good laughs, jammin to party in the usa twice, lots of pictures taken, lovin wearing open toed shoes in january and lovin the sunshine.

i love this girl more than she knows

later that night i went to costa vida to see my friend bree who is visiting from utah.. then danced the night away with my caitlin and friends. i saw so many random people from utah and other places. it was a fun night. we even had a countdown at midnight. a perfect ending to a perfect day to start the year 2010.

dear 2010,

you're going to be my favorite year yet. i feel it.

i loved spending time with my family. opening presents to james taylor christmas and other great songs and listening to the joy all around. we had eachother this christmas and it was all i wanted.

i will always remember this christmas. my heart was so full and grateful for the simple things in life like family and the simple birth of our savior.
